Anyone know the difference or which one would be better. I heard sometimes when they make new models they use cheaper parts and the sound actually does not sound as good...

Info would be good.
I'm feeling whatever right now..

doesn't matter, m-audio isn't a great choice for reference monitors... I mean, it's not even flat response...

check out the alesis M1 series if you are looking for cheap refs...
for the sound and price you really can't find anything bad to say.

i guess it's just that the BXa's are going to add some color, which may make things sound better than they really are... so for some, there's nothing 'wrong' with them...
specs between the regular and deluxe are identical, I'm wondering if the only difference is the look.

yeah the m-audios make for better speakers than reference monitors....
like i said...
if you want good refs for a budget price alesis is the way to go in my opinion.
my buddy has a pair and i'd honestly prefer them over the mackies at 3 times the cost.
i read somewhere that rogue element uses them as well.
