w00t! ;) here, a test to see how much you can hear. it depends a lot on your speakers though. I can hear up to 18 000 Hz with iMac speakers. I can't hear the low ones, I think my speakers can't take it, it makes a funny peaking "pak" sound when I try it. -__O [ www.jimmyr.com ] Oh, and even if 16 000 Hz isn't the highest in our hearing range, high-frequency sounds are freakin' annoying!!!! | |

yes dog whistles are are well past 20k, closer to 30 depending. Most adults will still here 16k into their 40's. | |

i hear 16000 clearly, 17000 a bit less but i still hear it, and 18000 i feel i can hear something but not quite sure
