wow that totally sucks for him but wouldn't it make sense to make a copy of the music made and give to a member of his manegment team? I do not make music yet but when i do i i wll inform myself properly. But yet again who can u really trust in the music industry u have to be very careful i guess......
I don't think it's that much of an accident.. A lot of DJs that are going into/out of the UK and that area have outright had specific records taken out of their record bags..

man, a few months ago the DnB producer, Donny, got his studio broken into, and they stole everything EXCEPT the external hard-drive that had his backups.. It's great how you can trust your friends sometimes.
And I think BT also got his studio totally pillaged 2 or 3 times..
trust is hard thing expecially when u r a dj/producer and u invite peeps to your place to listen to you either spin or that new track u made...I have had alot of shit stolen good thing i mark all my music down in my comouter and as a futur producer i plan to back up big time....
I back up my MP3 collection often and it has served me right in the past. I've had a hard drive go apeshit once with a crapload of tracks on it and I didn't lose all of it.

I know of one label that specifically "lost" / gave away an artists entire first album free online as promotional "accident" and asked him to write another album.. At the time it was a bit of a scandal and sucked for the artist because it wasn't exactly what he had in mind.. but label execs know how to pimp this shit and it really got everyone talking. I doubt hes complaining now that hes one of the most well known acts at the top of his genre getting payed more than most for his performances and selling literally every piece of shit he puts his name on.
