Start reading the Discworld series. If you've ever enjoyed D&D at least one year of your life... Terry Pratchett made fun of it in a totally "Douglas Adams" way.

Allow me. Douglas Adams? :p
Never mind, thanks for the info, I'll look into that eventually, when I actually manage to choose and enjoy what I read.

You know, books? Fiction. Douglas Adams = Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy?
Terry Pratchett = Discworld. Rincewind is a wizard who has absolutely no spells whatsoever, sent on an adventure with his personal chest/briefcase, a living wooden chest with a dozen feet and a hundred teeth. Mad fun. Eventually the series branch off in many sub series: Death and his family. The city guards (which make fun of Columbo, Kojak, etc) The three witches (which are parodies of Grimm/Disney stories) Rincewind Tryyyy it.

Yeah, I guess my sarcasm's getting pretty rusty. Or pretty good, I dunno.
And yeah, I'll look into Discworld, like I said when I can actually CHOOSE what I wanna read :) Public policy and economics are definitely not at the top of my must-reads.
