Renegade Legion was supposed to do a party (Organized Confusion) there and the police showed up BEFORE the party started and said there would be an illegal gathering in this location and they were here to prevent it... Good thing we had e-Cube as a backup location. I wonder who the nark was. Could it have been the Ray Junior crew who were doing a party on the same night! Who knows!

Lol, I remember the Pop Shop vinyl chuckout,

They had stored a couple of thousand records in the basement which all went moldy from the humidity,

They ended up having to throw them all out...Some eventually becoming lethal frisbee weapons in the hands of a drunken Dialect ;)

I remember that night too Noah, we probably even met that evening. We were still setting up the place when the cops showed up and told us they'd received a tip a rave was going down. I'm happy to hear you had a backup location.

I spent a decent amount of time at noize... And when it shut down, the new tennants were nice enough to let me take some of the old shelving an a bunch of dnb and soul records... some of which actually became frisbees aswell, only I was drunkenly firing them against my loft walls... I actually even remember recording a mix casette at noize in the back... all acid house and acidy breaks...hehehe, goodtimes

bliss, why did noise have to close in the end? it was so ill back in 2001, i could literally spend hours going through shit, it was one of the few real record stores like they have in NYC where they have rack after rack of records to go through...a store like say InBeat records or the old DNA i can look through those places in like 20 mins...

i think it's shame really that year after year record stores in m-city seem to be disappearing, i wish someone would open one, and not one of those shitty ones like they have on mt royal but a real one with both new and used shit, i don't get it other cities that are smaller than montreal have better record stores...in the words of Big L 'i don't understand it'
I'm feeling surly right now..

Ufot, stop throwing names like that. You're giving me way too many flashbacks for my feeble body to withstand.

I cannot count the times I dropped this at a party. It was pretty much the track that defined me back then :

Man, dose were dem days...

I never got my 500$ deposit back on the NOISE location! The chick who was there said it was our fault shit went down and refused any refunds! That was the last time I paid for a location in advance. Other then that it's only money. I just wonder what she did with all of it. It's a good thing I don't break people's legs when I'm frustrated! I had to pay for the backup location also! The reason I had the backup location in the first place was because I woke up with a dream that the party got busted and the first thing I did in the morning was call Thierry and ask him if he could get the E-Cube as a backup. They said "sure thing" as long as they got a 200$ deposit... I did it knowing I could loose it! Good thing! 2 Locations, one party...

Sorry to hear about that man, although I had nothing to do with the accounting.

I don't know what the exact policy is when you book a space for an evening then the event dosen't happen,
because the police don't allow it....

Version, I do remember Cubik, 808 State is one of my favorite groups.

For all those in need of oldschool / happy hardcore : [ www.rave.ca ]

I'm so bored I dunno what to do with myself... I just cleaned a bunch of mold from all the taco toppings which grew nasty green crap... I never knew tomatoes molded so god damn fast.

Old school song player coming soon and the mixes one also... I figure I can put at least 100gigs of music online for members...
