One week-end last summer, I was on my balcony around 4:00am on Duluth. The restaurant downstairs was renovating and painting and the owner had left a paint roller with paint outside and Jah Style and his 'bande de bouffons' came waltzing up drunk and unsuspecting. Seb doesn't see me on the balcony smoking my early morning spliff, but he's hovering around the paint like he can't resist, picks up the roller and starts rolling paint on the street and sidewalk on duluth. I'm thinking to myself "God I'd love to piss on this morons head right now." Until the owner came outside and stood there for a second watching Seb create his amazing Masterpiece, he looked like van gogh on crack, I swear he thought he was really accomplishing something. Then the owner approached him and told asked him if he was gonna clean it up or not. That's when it started getting fun. The whole time the owner had Seb scrubbing away at the sidewalk up until 4:30am, I was whispering shit like "Psssst! Moron!" "Pssst! Hey fag!" and he couldn't for the life of him find out where it was coming from. Until I got up and chuckled and told him to shut up he's disturbing the neighbors and went inside. I think he ended up staying there cleaning up for an whole hour. He was not compensated for his Work. |
