Disgraceful Yeah, I understand where you're coming from, I've seen parties in the past whose names were blasphemously off base compared to the styles represented at said party,(as a vague non-finger-pointing example: events w/ the word Hard in them that just aren't that hardcore) but no one really complains 'cause it's no big deal...If you know your genres/DJs and you check the line-up you should be able to discern what's really gonna be played at a party. As purveyers of certain styles of music, we have to learn to not take the names of parties too personnally...or too seriously...Anyway, as I mentioned before, party names generally tend to be weak/lame. All your funk are belong to us ;) |

| Coolness: 159810 | Screwhead, stupid '80s haircuts are fun, but I have to say that 1. these pics are all of girls with mohawks or fauxhawks and 2. mohawks were worn but REAL punkers in the 80s. Not fashionistas like we see today.
I dunno who decided that mohawks were cute but I can't wait until the day people get it in their heads (or out of it in this case) that it's fugly. Especially for girls. It's now 15 times worse now that EVERYONE has one. Fauxhawks are the worse. If you don't have the guts to have a REAL mohawk, get another haircut, you wusses. |
