The name of the party is fine, no better or worse than any other...good job on the marketing strategy Zed ;) Records vs CDs: I prefer rec.s, but I also love using both, 'cause there's nothing better than mixing with 4 mediums (2 TTs, 2 CDJs), and, as mentioned, there's stuff you can't get on record.  Coolness: 201915 | well I use a laptop cause I don't really spin mixes and play all my own tunes.. what's easier using cd-dj's which generally suck and have no effects or mixing in ableton with tons of effects and live shit... Personally I find the really cut up ableton mixes to be the most interesting.
I think it is harder to find psytrance on vinyl compared to cds. Also I think the type of sound in that genre would suffer more from being played off vinyl than a cd (a lot of high frequency sheen sounds which would crap out on used vinyl). |
