The way he described it, it's not intentionaly bad, it's just cranky like a baby being woken up.. It's clumsy and stubling around, and the parasites fall off because it's scratching it's back on a building.. |

 Coolness: 159425 | at the end you can see something (meteor? monster's egg? who knows?!) falling from the sky to the sea on the coney island shot. it's seem it's falling very far from the shore ...and these footages have been filmed 1 week before the attack so i suggest that it's the monster who walked to the city. hehe |

I've read some reviews and seems that some people don't like to not know where the monsters come from, etc... Sure, it would've been fun to know, but I actually see the "ignorance" as more convenient with the type of movie. I mean, it's told in the point of view of normal citizens... For sure they don't know what's going on. Will they learn more? I doubt it. They're just trying to survive all this. The way it ends, I like also. You don't know who kills who, the army with a rocket, or the monster stepping on them. I'm guessing on the army ;) Hmm, I don't remember seeing something crashing in the water at the end... Have to watch it again methinks ;) |
