| Some kid got a $180 fine because he made too much noise skateboarding....a lower court dismissed the case saying it wasn't loud enough (by the town bylaws) to warrant a ticket. It's now going to the superior court....

| I must say that out of all the sports i've done (and i've done a lot) skateboarding was the hardest. Cement is so unforgiving (can you say road rash?). I have a lot of respect for the sport itself, even if i don't like how many (not all)skaters act. I stopped when they made the boards paper thin...i couldn't afford to buy a board a week.
Seeing a pro is poetry in motion. Skating is like giving Newton the proverbial finger....bah, gravity. |
