You should be recording the system audio, do you have Nicecast? Record it with that, it's a lot easier than using soundflower. Your source should be system audio in that case.
I record from text edit speech all the time, and that's how I do it. Example [ www.sendspace.com ] |

thanks.
i might give nicecast a shot over the weekend. i'm just worried that i just had a setting wrong with soundflower and i'm gunna end up installing more garbage on my new computer for nothing. i'm under the impression that nicecast works the same way?

Soundflower is an add-on for nicecast if I'm not mistaken, I thought it was used to hijack all the audio on your computer to nicecast. Anyways, getting nicecast wont be so bad considering you can broadcast live shows with it...soundflower seems pointless to me |

its not specific to nicecast...
its just an audio hijacker... in this case i'm trying to hijack it into logic.... logic seems to recognise it... but for some reason its just not giving me a signal in my channel strip. i'm gunna dick around with it somemore when i got a few free moments.
