Saw the Haunted World of El Superbeasto. It was boring. Rob Zombie should not do cartoons. It tried to be edgy. It failed.
However, Trick R' Treat was excellent.

Awesome, not as great as the TV series, but I still really enjoyed it. Probably gonna re-watch season one tonight :)

yeah that was really fucked up.. Reminded me a lot of asian horror movies.. the "ghost" haunting the girl, and the torturing, all reminded me a lot of like, a combination of JuOn and The Devil's Experiment..
It was really good, but, I dunno, there's something I didn't like about it much, and I can't quite put my finger on it.. like, the last 1/3 of the movie has almost nothing to do with the first 2/3 of it, mostly just circumstancial stuff.. Just before the torture thing started at the end, if it had ended there it would have been an awesome movie, but then, they tried to pull an M. Night Shyamalan "WHAT A TWIST!" part by throwing in an element of the story that really wasn't necesary and the first 2/3 of the movie was totally not building towards in any way.. (at least, I find..)

the first part of the movie was the best (when the 2 girls are together in the house). when the first "punch" happen (don't want to give it all away here) I was asking myself if I just payed good videotron money for a one hour film :p but, they went in a total opposite direction, almost new genra, and I don't know, it was at least original :)
I loved how they tried something different with the ending too, even if it was to "jebus and friend" for my taste. Like I said, 3 movies into one :)

yeah, it starts off with a hell of a bang
It was original for sure, and really well done/put together.. but it almost feels like they had two different short stories written by different people that they tried to put together as one movie.. There's a movie I saw a while ago, The Signal, that's one story, but written/directed by three different people, that was really fucking cool.. The whole thing is about a weird signal that gets into every sort of broadcast; TV, radio, cell phones, etc.. Seeing/hearing the signal makes you start to hallucinate and lose your mind.. The way it was done with three directors/writers worked really well, you never know who's crazy, who's sane..

I think The Signal came out 2007-2008.. it's REALLY good, very fucked up and kinda plays with your mind pretty well.. they did a good jobe with it!
Where the Wild Things Are looks so good! I actually never read the book so I've got no idea what to expect.. but I heard that they're using the same technology to animate the faces for the new Ninja Turtles movie that's gonna come out

Thor fuckin' rocks! I've got a movie on VHS, Zombie Nightmare (I'm seeing a trend in titles here...) that's got him as a baseball player that gets killed and his mom has him re-animated by some voodoo-woman that he saved from rape once...
It's also got Adam West and Tia Carrere in it, and there's a bunch of scenes in the West Island and the surrounding area (Including Twist 'n Creme)

He'd latch it onto something, test the strength of it, and swing realisticaly over to the next area, holding on for dear life! Now it looks like he's been training with Spiderman, just jump, latch the whip to something in mid air, swing over non-chalant.. tsss, he doesn't need to test it anymore, he's got experience now. also he's so old that if the whip doesn't hold, he'll be dead before he notices... so it all comes down to having nothing to lose.
