Slumdog Millionaire.

It was good. Not perfect but good enough. Entertaining, touching, etc. I was waiting for a Bollywood-style choreography though and well, they had one with the end credits, so I wasn't disappointed :D

Mr. Brooks

Fuckin' hell that was awesome! Kevin Costner makes for a great serial killer.. I just wish it had ended a little differently..

That guy that was trying to blackmail him into killing someone is about the only thing that should have been done differently.. I mean I get that you're not supposed to like this guy, and I guess they did a good job with that, but I was completely not convinced by his performance; he came off as an actor playing a role, and not as someone who's actually the character he's supposed to be in the movie.

Uh, the "actor" trying to blackmail him was Dane Cook.

Dane Cook. Stand up comedian?

DANE COOK :(

I hate that guy.

you are right but for me he is still a funny guy!

oh and I saw State of play last night.

It was good, more than I thought it would, it's a movie with ben Afleck, but the star is Russel Crow... still it was good, and it was free...
I'm feeling ok right now..

Disney Nature's Terre. Sadly saw it in French, which means I had a Jean Lemire narrate instead of James Earl Jones.

Still, for a Disney movie, it's a great movie. It shows the beauty of nature while not shying away from the dangers they face, the law of nature and so on. If you ever wanted to see first hand what happens to polar bears when the ice caps melt faster than they should... well, you'll see it.

I guess the biggest question I had in mind after watching the movie wasn't about global warming and pollution, as those subjects are always around lately but rather on the moral obligations of the filmmaker when filming. I normally agree with leaving the animals alone and not interfering in any way, but... Well, watch it.

For the gore fans who might not enjoy a nature movie, you'll see a Great White shark snap a seal in half and a dozen lions totally rip an elephant apart. So there's gore :)

the long goodbye
