 Coolness: 686270 | Death Ship: the movie was finished in 79 but only came out in 80/81, it's really fucking good and atmospheric.. It's one of those horror movie you'd always see in video rental stores but never bothered renting, and it's fucking awesome!
most of the best horror movies though are really late 70s-mid80s.. It's around 89-90 that horror movies started getting really bad (in the bad way, not in the so-bad-it's-good way) |

It was... 50-50. The story was good and the movie needed to be made, I think. However, whoever was the screenwriter should be shot on sight. The movie was as subtle as being hit with a 2x4. Example: Dédé walks home with Nicole, who eventually becomes his girlfriend. He says shit like, "On est en 1985. On peut tout faire. Depuis que je suis à Montréal, j'ai l'impression que tout est possible." Nicole answers something like, "Oui! Moi aussi j'suis une optimiste!" And dédé says, "Mets-en, y reste quinze ans avant l'an 2000." ...what? Scenes like this kept me from enjoying the movie as much as I wanted to. Sad :S |

je sais pas pourquoi, ben en faite jle sais un peu, mais tsé y'a des films que tu sais sans l'avoir vu que tu l'aimera pas, qu'il te déçoit déjà et tu l'as même pas encore visionner? | Coolness: 158915 | Le film est pas mauvais, loin de là. Ya de belles scènes et tout. Mais ca parrait que le réalisateur/scénariste avait rien fait de très difficile avant et qu'il aurait du laisser ce film à quelqu'un de plus experimenté.
