HAHAHA!

Got back from watching The Dark Knight at IMAX, and oh my fucking god, I absolutely loved that movie.
I'm not gonna speculate on anything, but I would REALLY like to see more of Harvey Dent's character, and I would much rather see the Riddler as the next villan over anyone else, for reason like Screwhead said, being: He's a more realistic character, and keeping with the intellectual psycho path theme, having him would be sick.

And I have to mention, in response to Daf, that the sound when I watched was perfect really. I never missed out on any of the dialogue, and not only that, I want to mention that the choice in music was amazing. The dark feeling, and deep sounds created such a dark atmosphere in the cinema, which totally jived with the sense of dire, and dark emotions from the movie.

I mean... The whole was Epic.

P.S: Heath Ledger was a fucking genius playing as the Joker. Best Character EVER!

Can't wait to see it again and again!!
I'm feeling kiss me, im shitface right now..

The mutant chronicles.

Made by the dude that did sin city and 300, this takes place in the year 2707 (as i recall) where the world is run by 4 companies who are continually at war with eachother over earths remaining resources, and during a skirmish, they awaken a machine that has been laying dormant underground. This machines sole purpose is to turn people into mutants who then go on rampages killing and collecting more bodies to feed the machine. When it first arrived, a sacred order managed to shut it down and leave a legacy, handed down through story to it's followers in case the machine ever woke up.

The first 20 minutes of this movie are fucking amazing, all the army guys are dressed in ww2 garb but using futuristic weaponry. But the longer the movie went on, the more the negative points made me stop liking it. The acting is horrible (more fromage then sin city), the atmosphere lacks detail (someone with more, or at least any, imagination should have helped), the dialogue is lame and the casting is as well. The asian chick from kill bill and sin city is in it and it becomes apparent why she doesnt usually get speaking roles... The only foreigner with an accents are from a british soldier and an Irish monk, but the chinese chick, korean dude and german dude sound more american than the americans (gogo casting!)

It may be worth seeing in theatres when it comes out, but i say download it instead.

3/5 rampaging mutants only.
I'm feeling gettin more ink soon right now..

Last movie: Midnight Meat Train
Comment: Vinnie Jones is always cool, and the movie was visually impressive, the gore scenes are memorable but sadly the story has flaws that made this movie good but far from what it could have been.
Do I recomment?:Yes, but with some reserves

Midnight Meat Train, by someone who read the novella.

Comment: Vinnie Jones plus CGI gore. That will be the only thing you will like about this. The story is changed from the novel in such ways as to violently make you puke. The protagonist is now an innocent photographer with a certain arrogance, his girlfriend who's acting WAAAAYYY too in love for her own good and a friend who doesn't fit at all. The ending's meaning is changed and there are scenes that are USELESS and serve NO POINT in this movie.

What used to be a story about routine, depression and wanting to contribute to society now becomes a Good vs Bad Guy show down, complete with cowboy duel shots.

Do I recommend: If you've never read the novella, like Anarkoid, you might like it. If you're an insane fan of gore, you might like it. If you are the type of person who complain when movies take a huge departure from their source, stay far from it or you'll end up killing the Japanese director who made this film.
I'm feeling fretful right now..

funny games

I saw Hancock last.. It was a lot better than I was expecting from all the reviews! The only real problem I had with the movie was that it went sliding from being an action-comedy, to an action-drama with some comedy, to a fairly serious action-drama with no comedy.. That last fight scene really didn't fit in with the "mood" of the movie, but it was still really well done..

The first 1/3 of the movie alone is worth sitting through the whole thing, just to hear Will Smith actually SWEAR! (and not like, Damn or Dang or any of that crap.. Like, he says FUCK!)

"And don't think I can't smell that liquor on your breath!"
"That's 'cause I been drinkin', bitch!"

Fucking great!
