wow. that was the biggest flaming pile of shit I have ever seen. It was apocalypto for children. The people who devised that film are on fucking crack. Bleh. Love the site but whoever made the movie wasn't the same people and it was obvious. The only funny joke (Steven Seagal's Cockpuncher) was stretched for over the entire length of the movie. Don't rent it. Don't even download it. Even Mad TV is funnier than this. |

It's one of those movies that I always saw the box of and always wanted to rent when I was younger, but my parents never wanted to rent me horror movies, so I only just ended up stumbling across it on [ Cinemageddon.org ] (seriously, everyone that loves crappy b-movies NEEDS to get on that torrent site, it's a fucking gold mine) The plot: A kid who grew up without his father finds him, and the day after his dad spoke to him about the old family farm where everyone else died, and the kills himself. So the guy wants to go to the farm with a bunch of friends to try and solve the mystery of why everyone in his family but his father dissapeared/died. It was really interesting and cool at points, but the end just totally threw me for a loop. I'm not quite sure if I got this right, but at the end, it turns out that the guy who's family was living there is the descendant of some sort of creature (that looks like a bald alien elf) that is the only thing that can match and rival Satan in power, and he has to kill Satan before he can be summoned/resurected fully onto earth. I'm totally torn; the first 3/4 of the movie was great and cheezy as hell (even though the best characters die first), but the end was just a big pile of "what the fuck were you guys smoking, because I want to avoid it for the rest of my life" |

I also watched FutureKill.. That was fairly dissapointing. I was expecting something a lot more dystopian and post-apocalyptic.. Instead, it turned out to be about frat-kids that have to make up for a prank they did by kidnapping a "mutant", which is really just the name of a group of protesters that dress and have makeup like a cross between a punk and a goth (80s style).. But there's a nutcase in the mutants that's violent and decides to kill them all.. It was a lot lamer than I'd thought it would be. I watched Freejack for the first time, also, and I fucking loved it! |
