I saw a little bit of something weird this week end. "Cecile B demented" I think the name was... To be honnest, it was on TV and I was zapping and I only stopped because a guy was runing in the air (like he was stock) and yelled : "HELP! I'm stock in a K hole!" and it made my laugh. I could not listen to more than 10 mins, but it looked weird. As anybody seen it? is it any good? should I rent it? i like that movie, believe it or not, it's one of john water's more "normal" movies (if that's saying much!) hahaha Jason X, the only good thing about that movie was that everytime someone dies, they say some cheezy ass one liner. bon MAIS long. tellement long que ça devient moins bon. Les images sont intéressante cependant et les personnages tout aussi intriguant que troublant. Historie intérésante. Musique agressante qui donne l'impression que chaque scène est grave même si ce n'est pas le cas. |

last movie i saw was "le terminator" (on tqs, ha) and i spotted an fuck-up in it. sara connor pulls up in her jeep and asks for gaz, mexican guy says no comprende... she repeats in spanish... few seconds later little man runs up to snap a polaroid and says a bunch of spanish things to sara... same old man walks up and sara asks him whats this kid saying?... old guy answeres back in english. |

si vous l'avez trouvé long, c'est rien à côté de There will be blood. Malgré leur longeur, dans chaque film il y avait des aspect que j'ai trouvé génial. Malheureusement faut être patient pour que ça vale la peine :| |

| Coolness: 158915 | The Bodyguard + Sister Street Fighter (Sonny Chiba Grindhouse Double Feature)
The Bodyguard is a major waste of time. Barely any fights and none to show Chiba's extensive martial arts repertoire. Sister Street Fighter is, on the other hand, pure candy. Etsuko Shihomi is a babe who knows how to throw a fight and Chiba is a pure fighting machine. The story is pretty simple; Shihomi plays Tina, the sister of the head student of a martial arts school. The brother has disappeared during his investigation of a heroin ring (seems like martial arts = police... 0_o;) She fights her way to find him. Chiba plays a new "master" of their style, lending a (much needed) hand when things get too tough. The grindhouse features (commercials and tidbits you've most likely seen while watching Planet Terror / Death Proof) are a nice touch. Do I Recommend? Skip the Bodyguard. Watch the rest. |

I don't even know where to begin.. A 'metal' band gets warned by a fan not to go to their next tour stop, but they go anyways 'cause they're expecting some big-shot label guy to show up and see them.. While in their van, the singer/bassist is working on a new song. The lyrics are from a spell in a book he once read, and they're suposed to bring the dead back to life (as we can "see" from the mosquito that constantly gets smacked and comes back to hassle the driver) They pick up a hitch hiker chick and she offers to have them stay at her house with her family rather than pay for a hotel. The family is... fucked up doesn't quite describe it.. They've got 2 midget servents, one of which is totally disfigured, and the mother and father are both old german folks.. and there's a bald guy... The town put together a meeting to ban all forms of rock music, and there's a hillarious scene where all the townsfolk are smashing their records and ripping apart their tapes... the singer from the band falls in love with the girl that warned them not to come to the town.. and as the band starts getting killed off, he records a copy of the song that raises the dead and gives her the tape and tells her if they die, to play the tape for them.. Then they all get killed, and we're back at the mansion with the weird family having supper, when the old man pulls off his mask, and it turns out he's Hitler and his wife is Eva Braun.. And.. the girl plays the tape and the band comes back to life and kills/infects hitler and his family... I can't really describe the rest.. It's kinda just really fucked up. That's only 45 minutes into the movie... if anyone is interested, look it up at [ tracker.zaerc.com ] totally ridiculous, everyone should watch it. |
