You do realize that Serato and Final Scratch both require beatmatching, the same as if you were just playing normal vinyl right?
I'm feeling rocking out right now..

yeah, out of that list, Live is the only one that you have to pre-beatmatch tunes to use properly (unless you're amazingly good at how it works), and even at that, there are things you can do with Ableton that you couldn't possibly dream of doing with CDJs/emulators, no matter how many features they have. Want 8 tracks running at the same time and to cut back and forth between them? Done in a few clicks. Want to remix a tune live? Just throw your own drums and synths into the mix. There's effects, too.. Run a track through Glitch, the grain delay or the beat repeater to fuck with people.. And then there's the aspect that you can bring in anything from any genre at any BPM. You really like how the bass in the DnB tune sounds and want to try it as breaks over a psy set? Done (without sounding like a 45 at 33). That works great for doing mashups; bring in any tune that you like over any other tune with zero effort.
I'm feeling warcracktastic right now..

Psytrance and trance, take 0 talent to mix.
especially with the little bpm cheating tricks on the cdj's.

to mix any genre well.. you must have talent. and to be honest to date.. psy is one of the most chalenging Ive come across.. considering the heavy melodies, perc lines, pads, sample use, variant basslines, the key of the tune as well as the frequency ranges overall, for a mix to flow you must consider these factors at all times... your above statement is naive and ignorant. For most people here its a simple as lining up kick drums and crossfading, which really doesnt fly in my books or the books of anyone who can consider themselves a pro... the only reason conceivable you can make such a statement is because youve never spoken to any real psy dj or seen one mix properly let alone being able to come close to pretending to comprehend whats going through his head in the meantime. T.O.Y.

How about a shut your mouth-a-thon, one where the winner actually goes and practices on some REAL turntables instead of trying to show off their amazing Psytrance 4-4 mixing skills are with their own practically beatmatched tunes on your CD-J. LOL Wow it doesnt get gayer than this.

who you callin' fossil waxamaphone boy... I sold mine years ago with good reason... 1 theres nothing available on vinyl I need that I cant find on cd plus its archaic technology that makes music sound like shit as far as im concerned... if your mixing through your little application you cant even consider the tone of analog cuz your dropping a digital mp3 anyway. Besides, the medium doesnt matter its just for beatmatching mainly.. theres nothing that can be done on a tech 12's mixwise that can't be done on a pair of cdj 800's in good hands except maybe the power off trick...OooOooo.. and even that theres walkarounds with a 100% pitch slider. Either way you said psy djs dont need talent.. put your money where your mouth is and accept the challenge badboy.

jungle is eaiser to mix for the simple reason that it is faster

just like it is harder to play any instrument slow and still keep good time. You have less reference points and the odds that your internal meter goes off is much higher.

not shut up you fuckhead.
