The fireworks are on wednesday + saturday at 10:00. The last country to go was germany on wednesday, the last show is on saturday but it's the "Laronde" fireworks. I'm sure it'll still be good. You can see th fireworks from alot of places but the best place(that's free) I think for these ones is next to the bridge at papineau, a bit to the side so that you're almost in front of the ferris wheel. They're centred from there and you can see all the bottom ones even sitting.

And it's always nice to have a radio so you can listen to the music that goes with the fireworks. I dunno what station it is though.

Ok, we're staying at one of the three hotels...

Ramada Conference Centre / Blainville- North Montreal
1136 Boul Cure , Labelle HWY 15 exit 25

HOTEL DU MANOIR ST DENIS MONTREAL
2006, Rue St Denis,
Montreal

ECONO LODGE
1981 Boulevard Cure Labelle , Laval, QC, CA, H7T 1L4

Does anyone have any feedback or comments on any of these places.... example - distance from downtown Montreal, nice hotels, etc....
I'm feeling her tits right now..

I haven't been to any of the hotels but the 2 on Boulevard Cure Labelle aren't in mtl, they're off the island in laval, thus far from downtown. the hotel du manoir is downtown.
I'm feeling misson aborted right now..

From those 3, only the Manoir is in Mtl, the two others are on the south shore (Laval) ... don't have any feedback from those, but I know econolodge usually sucks (and not the good way) from the experience I had from this group of hotels.
I'm feeling sick :( right now..

Chez Jose is a cool place to get a sandwich and coffee - it's at 173 Deluth a few blocks east of St. Laurent. You should also check out mount royal - there are some great views of the city if you climb it. On Sundays it fills up with people chilling and enjoying the sun. There also a really cool pool hall on berri and Mount Royal right near the Mont-Royal metro station. You can also explore the city and just walk along st. laurent, st. dennis, mont-royal, rachel...etc

This is a nice hotel in a nice location and the price isn't so bad when you consider this is for 4 people for 10 days. So if you're 4 people or less and are staying for 10 days or less they have availability.

already called them... they were one of the first places... they don't have availability for saturday night...
It's all good... We are probably staying at a raver's place Saturday night, who happens to be a very sweet person (he knows who he is) and Sunday night staying at the Plateau Royale which I hear is amazing only for $105 a night....

THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO HAS HELPED US OUT WITH THIS... A REASON WHY WE THINK PEOPLE FROM MONTREAL ARE REALLY NICE PEOPLE....
We love you and we will hopefully see you soon.
I'm feeling her tits right now..
