should be able to do the same thing with a credit card, bank card, bus pass... anything with a magnetic strip on it... at one of the Upgrades last year Stéphanie Brodeur & Darsha Hewitt presented something called the Magnetic Identity Liberation Front... where they'd attached a card reader to a computer that would turn the magnetic information on the strip into a series of tones... so that you were able to hear the information on any of the cards in your wallet.

soooo.... okay, ill save up all my bus passes and make a midi mixer with it and use the strips as faders! yay
