and its not bad at all like the people here seems to think, like mike_stigner yes its repetitive, and misses crashes after the beat fills and the bassline sounds wierd, but im not much into dnb,i love it but dont listen to it at home much, anyways maybe its a nice sound for dnb heads, but in my mind it sounds wierd, not bad, but wierd but what techno is not repetitive? for v1 i like the kind of ride/cowbell added but not much difference overall there seems to be a kick doubles in the *montée*, like the par of the 4/4 kick to rise the track i think you sould really add crashed every 32 beat or something, after the fills, the fills are nice but i expect a sequence marker as a crash after the fills, i love crashes ... =P and now for the v2 kick sounds more bassy, good, i hear drum are equed more but there is still the same kick doubled on the 4/4 beat, i dunno if its meant to be like that! i still fint the bassline is not getting enough bass, its dnb after all, do you produce with a subwoofer, that could be *traitre* because you hear more bass than there really is. i think you should vary your bassline a bit overall its great job, and i dont know why they picked on you like that, there are people that does reallly reallly worst than that |

| Coolness: 283170 | Yeh, I think maybe next time I'm not gonna post anything until it's finished...I dont know...I figured posting this would get some positive feedback from some breakbeat kids...yeh Deadfunk, I'm using this really shitty set of computer speakers and sub with my Audio Tech headphones at night, while my Berhingers get fixed...so yeah it's frustating when something doesnt really sound the way you hear it to other people...those other versions are terrible now that I listen to them again, but it still doesnt merit the shit they we;re talking, and it's definately 100 times better than anything that James kid couuld make...fucking punk. I trust Deadfunk's crit because he's 100 percent more crdible than any of those other kids talking smack. And Blake too, it means a lot thanks guys...I'm working on more variation in the bassline and it's going to have some intricate surpirses thrown in for a dope effect.
Just wanted to know what y'all think about it so far, thats all. And the haters keep on hating. |
