i think instead of showing IPs next to posts (which is DOS and spam heaven for people who know how), there should be a screen (maybe integrated with the Whois screen, or maybe separate), where it shows sets of Nicknames that have used the same IP within, say, last 5 hours. I know its not a big deal (at least not anymore now that fake account usage is no longer trendy... got old, i guess), but it would help with future outbreaks of this extremely annoying trend, as well as prevent people from having too much fun at other people's expense. plus it would provide means to stop potential spammers and flooders without exposing people's ip to the general crowd, making lots of computers potential targets for, yes you got it, spammers and flooders. down with spammers and flooders! anyway you get the drift |

I even think the way WHOIS shows IPs now of people who arent logged in, isnt good, it should show something like Guest1, Guest2, etc... and actual IPs viewable to moderators only. maybe in whois, be it regged users or guests, you could put a clickable link that would pop up a window with all nicks that came from THAT IP (ip itself not being shown) in last 5 hrs or whatever |

maybe a section where people could submit like 10 polls during a given week.. first come first serve... and moderators delete the mad stewpid ones making space for others |

 Coolness: 85685 | No you guy got it all wrong rave wave is good the way it is. but Noah you should put little quirky thing in that people won't nessearily undersatand... like when the number 69 is in your post count some cute little icon should apear for that time or when your post hit 666 you automaticaly get strange messages from fred, and other stuff. |
