Seriously lame. That's just laziness, topped off with disrespect to the promoter. Luckily I don't think that he'll be pissed at you because there were issues with the 2nd room you were going to be playing in. It's like 25$ to catch a one way trip to Ottawa, plus 3$ in bus fare to get to the venue though. Easily done and covered by the promoters generally. (Unless you're playing for free... But musicians should never really be doing that.) Catching a ride wouldn't have costed that much less. Tsk tsk. |

Nawh. I'm not a dick to you in public because I have no beef with you. Missing a gig, regardless of not having the cash to make it out there, or if I'm nice to you in public or not, is unprofessional... Especially when I saw zero notice on any of the Ottawa boards that you were going to be missing your set. If you (or any other act) had done that for a party I was throwing that I had booked you for, I would have chewed you out for pulling a sketch move like that... Hell, I've done it before to people who didn't show up, even if their reasons were more understandable. (Missing a paid gig is still missing a gig, regardless of social circumstances). |

Jveux meme pas que tu me redonne l'argent que t parti avec sa vaut meme pas la peine, c'est pas chere payer 20$ pour avoir enfin la paix. Ensuite, j'avais rien de preparer? Jme suis casser le cul a me trouver des vinyls toute la semaine pour pouvoir mixer la-bas et 3 jours avant tu me dis que le style que je veux jouer ben jpourrai pas le jouer et que jvais devoir jouer dans un style que je déteste au plus profond de moi meme. C'est pas comme toi qui c'est fait des cds avec toutes les tounes aux meme bpm, wow le grand dj Pour finir, comme Nemo a dit, It was written in the sky.
