i told them,,im not a complainer,,but something is really wrong and i need immediate medical attention,i think i have pneumonia.

and they were like your not a docter go sit over there.

no meds for the whole 8 hours,so i was seeing fuckin starts from the fever yo..and no food for 18 hours either ,,so i had enough and tried to find a place to sleep, cause they refused me a bed.

i found a broken cold metal hospital bed, thats when the security came and poked me and told me to get the fuck out of there,he wouldnt even look me in the face/

False. It took them two years to figure out that my dad had lung cancer and that it had gotten into his brain. He was 84 at the time. They stuffed him full of morphine until the day he fell off a chair and they decided to do a scanner for some reason. Until that happenned, my mom had problems even finding a service wheelchair to move him around the hospital.

I _hate_ hospitals. I usually go to a clinic. You give your name, go back to work, get called, wait maybe half an hour, get checked. Sure it costs 15$, but it's much less annoying and you don't catch Clostridium Difficile or Staphylococcus Aureus. Usually.

Man, believe me, I know. When I went to the verdun hospital 'cause of my intestines, they were so fucking slow and did fuck-all. I've got a BIG problem with hospitals, I almost died in the childrens when I Was 13, and they're not a place I like to go, so if I'm there voluntarily, it's 'cause there's a massive problem.

I'm there telling them that all of a sudden it started feeling like I've been stabbed in the side or like something ruptured inside, and it takes them 4 hours before they pass me for an x-ray, at 5am, when there's absolutely NO ONE ELSE there.

The royal vic wasn't too much better on the quality of service. I called for an appointment and it took 3 months to see a "professional", who had me in and out in under 10 minutes with barely any examination and NO tests to confirm what I've got. For all I know, what I think is IBS could be colon cancer or something else just as bad. And the "advice" he gave me on what to do was fuckin' worthless. I found out more about how and what to eat, what the symptoms are like, how it works, from a forum on the internet than I did from the incompetent fucking tool.

The ONLY hospital in montreal where the doctors actually care about their patients and treat them properly and quickly, is the Children's hospital. When the doctors that work there need medical work of any sort done, they stay in-house and do it because they know and admit that other hospitals don't give a fuck and take their time to do even the most minor things.

yeah, they're fucking useless. The only thing that really gets them to treat you right away is if you've got some massive trauma that's killing you, like a stab or a gunshot or some shit like that.

My friend Dave over the summer had his knee break. He was walking on Mt. Royal, took a step and slipped, and his knee bent backwards and broke. He spent I think 8 days waiting for emergency surgery, probably more.. I think it might have been closer to 11.. They'd tell him that he's getting it tommorow and needs to not eat 'cause of the anasthetic, and then the next day "Sorry, we can't pass you today", and keep repeating that over and over.

It's fucking ridiculous the bullshit that they put you through.

yeah the Quebec system seems to blow harder than Ontario which i thought was impossible!

the time i woke up @ the hotel Dieu with no idea why i was there NOBODY else seemed to know either it took 3 hours, just for them to tell me NOTHING. and they did no tests either. said it was alcohol poisoning... but i had 5 drinks. thats nothing for an alchie like me. but they didn't test for GHB or anything. Fuckers!

This hospital situ is unique to Quebec. The health care system is on the same level as Mexico (and I really wish I was kidding here). You also have the phenomenon of the brain-drain, where you not only have QC trained doctors leaving for the US (like the rest of Canada), they're also leaving for Ontario and (especially) Alberta.

Looks like the wrong people were elected in QC...for about 25 years. Worst. Run. Province. Evar.
