well I hope that this nurave oldschool revival would revive some intrest in (yeah you guessed it, well what did you expect from good ol' Toltech) Techno! Yeah remember back in da days like pre-milenium, how it was all Techno and House and losts of Techno at that..... aaaahhh revive that dang it. Seriously, Henrik B headlining SONA's 6year anniversary. What do we have now? Satoshi Tomboy or whoever and they all cream they pants! Come on let's have some funa gain and something else to that effect and wtv..... do I sound like I'm bitching or reminiscing? is that word even spelled right? Anyways, I am very curious to go to one of those Nu Rave happenings. When's the next one?
I'm feeling like chicken right now..

I like Klaxons very much, but I would hardly call em "Nu Rave" though they claim to have coined the term.
I'm feeling hungover right now..

k... so the more reasearch i do on the subject the more i notice it seems to be acctually have alot in common with the north american electro clash/ "dance rock" scene... way less about studio engineering and way more about live performance.
it seems like the north american stuff has alot more of an a syth pop influence wherease the uk "nu rave" has got alot more of that hardcore ravey feel.

any of you guys peep the new lcd video yet for that north american scum joint off the new album?

So what do most of you "cliche" shirtless, glow stick waving, hippie trance lovin ravers think of the Nu Ravers?

I kind of like these cats...Freaky clothes, smiley faces, dirty trashy beats and whistles (!!!)

All I can say is gay culture has always been a celebrated part of the rave scene
I'm feeling gangsta right now..

The only regional DJ I know who packs a ton of it and plays it on request (depending on what type of gig it is) is Mike James. I have a small collection and dabble it into other sets, but have never done a pure tweaked out acid house set.
