IDJ2 is MUC MUCH MUCH better than the IDJ because it actually has a pitch control so that you can ACTUALLY mix he tracks... The IDJ imo is absolutely useless unless your playing country songs at a bingo night for old people...
But the IDJ2 actually seems like something you can mix with and have fun with... AND YOU ONLY NEED 1 IPOD for this unit, the IDJ requires 2 ipods.... (STupid......)

thanks, party. yeah, it doesn't say anything about pitch control in the specs on numark's page.. i knew it was too good to be true. the IDJ2 definitely looks like fun, but in terms of how much it costs in comparison, i may as well stick some forks in my eyes instead for that kind of fun....
did it just come out? it seems like if it had more channels the price would seem more reasonable.. maybe the price will drop soon... do you think there is anywhere in town that rents them out? i'd like to check it out at least.. if not, i guess there's always my cuttlery drawer...wheee...

I don't think it would work with the shuffle. It looks like it connects to the I-pod's weird connecter thingy at the bottum, nto usb.
I'm feeling sick :( right now.. |

numark makes a rack mount one that works with any usb key or mp3 player...
looks much better than this and it can even record your sets. but for real... all this all in one mp3 buisness is for trance and top 40 fags who can't cut...

No no, lets say you just want to learn how to beatmatch and all you have is your mp3's on your Ipod :p Its a great tool to learn on especially for those who dont have tables or cant afford them...then they can upgrade to a timecode prgram if they feel like learning vynil...its way cheaper than buying cdj's and/or techs, less hands on though, I love having tables and a mixer...I feel like I have COMPLETE control of my tunes. |

how much does it cost, i bet a battle pack is cheaper,
and allways think that you play mp3 that you did not pay for, in most cases, so dont even think about selling something that has been made with this because there are people that will and if you like it and get booked, you get on real cdj and get screwed so yes, its made to play country song in a wedding ...
