the debit card place was the place next door to the right of the couche tard... and wtf happened to the couch tard anyway... did they get robbed blind to many times? i remember for a while you needed a mutha fuckin' escort to buy beer and open the fridge. it was still better than all the other deps around there though... crazy jihad mother fuckers... i wonder if bin laden got a cut outta that shit? and yeah i got my money back... but my account was frozen for 2-3 weeks while my account went under criminal investigation and i had like a grand in it and no cash whatsoever... the dep guys managed to get my account down to -$1400... it sucked mega ass too. thank god my homegurl liz lent me some cash for food and ting... a grown man can only survive off tap water and his own spunk for so long yo!!! and yeah hostie... i love that hood!! so much fun... and your so close to everything. thats the only place i've ever lived that i could go for weeks without having to ever take the bus or metro anywhere... and there is a ton of alternative deps... the chinese dep or the sandwich dep... morlatos ect... most of the crack heads are pretty harmless too... some are even... kinda cuddly... and they will do ANYTHING for a rock yo!! |

You have EVERYTHING you need: Provigo and PA for groceries, tons of deps, Concordia is right there, lots of shopping, Alex Nihon for Zellers and Canadian Tire. McDonalds 2 blocks in either direction, Guy and Atwater metros are right there.
Plateau has nothing of convienence around, the only grocery store around is 4 Freres and it's hella expensive. Plus, there's no metro. Long live sketchy downtown. |

FUCK THEM UP THEIR STUPID ASSES. i'm glad it burned. and fuck that dep across from soup n noodles too. it reeks like SHIT in there 24/7, they dont take returnables, they price-gouge....the list goes on. i'll tell you one thing though, if you want to express your discontent with these fucks, dont bother yelling or swearing or even using logical arguments; just make eye contact with them, say "this is what i think of your store:" and then spit on the floor. then duck 'n cover.
what happened with the couche tard is that they werent making enough coin to justify keeping the place open. i talked to the manager when it was closing and he told me he had worked in a couche tard a few blocks down, near peel, and that couche tard made, in 2 hours, what it took the st-mat/st/marc couche tard 8 hours to make. plus the rampant bank card scamming probably didnt help. |
