... in all honesty, i have very little grasp on production whatsoever! im using fl studio 6, with no maunal or training and im trying to program like a super fan, as opposed to a super producer... for now anyways!

the thing is, you lost all credibility by using these drums, they sound like drums on a casio, children model ...
but the rest is nice, even tho i dont really like it myself

... really?? ALL credibility?!?!

cool, that implies that i had some to loose in the first place!!!

but seriously, not been at this for very long. im still sorting the basics ... so right now im just trying to get a handle on stringing something together... once i got this, then i'll worry abut sample and sound quality!

It doesn't sound like real 7/4 time.. it sounds more like patterns of 7 or 14 ticks that have been made with the "random" function...

I find those timings need a sense of organization like 123 1234 123 1234 etc...

Listen to "money" by pink floyd, most of the song is in 7/8 (except for some parts in 4/4 like the guitar solo).. that is a good example of a 7 beat groove
I'm feeling gangsta right now..

channels are set at 7 bars of 4, these channels plugged into mixer board in 3 main groups, each of these groups has 6 groups of 4

... like i said: im still learning to string something half descent together. i'll have a listen to money by pink floyd. actually, ive hear it a thousand times if i heard it once... never stopped to realise the time sygnature on it?!?!

cheers!

oh, and none of it is random. ive never used the feature either. shity or not, what you hear is 100% deliberate on my part!
