my point being is ièll give amon tobin more props than shadow,because he doesnt sample. shadows new album is poopie. hip hop is poopie. cut chemist are great but thats more turntablism than producing. using all samples while producing is fuckin wack,,its not producing,,its getting to know cool edit or some shit. |

actually, amon tobin does sample! I use an MPC for my samples. have you ever used one of those? fucking sick...and there is a lot of creativity to putting samples together. Trying to find those two or three melody samples that make a song is part of the fun. Ok, I agree with you if you're listening to music like DJ BRADSTAR - EMINEM VS. THE MONTREAL CANADIENS MEGA BRITNEY MIX but the fact of the matter is, the entire culture that this music came from is built on sampling. Hip hop is what you choose to listen to. |
