Alright folks, this is it. Nocturnal4's review of the "Philips Norelco BG2020 Men's Bodygroom".

WARNING: The following may not be suitable for children under the age of 16. (Don't bother asking where I came up with that age. It just felt right )

First things first. The packaging was nice, except for the fact that it took me 10 minutes to get the damn thing out. The manual that it came with was not what I was expecting. It was made out of cheap recycled paper and you have to unfold it about 8 times before you can see what's inside. The information contained within the manual is very useful and I highly recommend that you read it before using the product. It also comes with a nice charger, a plastic thing that you can hang the Bodygroom with (for what reason, I don't know. Maybe to wall mount it or something). It also comes with 3 trimming combs, small, medium, and large that you can attatch to the Bodygroom to help achieve the results you are looking for. I almost forgot, the Bodygroom itself is made out of strong plastic, and is very ergonomic. I couldn't ask for it to fit in my hand any better. The shaving foil is hypoallerginic which is a major plus for me and it only needs to be replaced once every year. There is virtually no maintenance involved. Also, the Bodygroom lasts for 50 minutes on an 8 hour charge. Ok, I think I have covered most of the boring stuff. Now, it is time to actually put that warning to use!

Shortly, I will be reviewing how well the Bodygroom worked in each area that I shaved. Starting with the toes, and ending with the upper arms. Like I said earlier, I promised myself I would shave my sack first, but once I held that machine near it, I got a little nervous and decided it might be a good idea to start somewhere else.

I picked up my Bodygroom, manual, newspaper (for the mess I was about to make, and a bottle of water (to drink) and proceeded to the bathroom. Once I was in, I locked the door and then I took off my slippers, socks, shorts, boxers, and shirt. I stood there naked, looking into the mirror with a huge grin on my face and an occasional giggle. Boy, was I excited!

Note: I was completely dry when I shaved.

Toes: I have quite a bit of toe hair and I don't really like it so I proceded to shave it off. Vroom, Vroom, the Bodygroom went as it removed the hair with ease!

Feet: Again, no problem at all. Not much to say here.

Lower legs: I attatched the #3 trimming comb to the Bodygroom and trimmed an area of my right leg to see how short/long it was. It wasn't short enough so I put on the #2 trimming comb and that was the perfect size. No complaints here.

Upper legs: I shaved this area clean. It took a little bit of time, but the Bodygroom did an excellent job. I did have to make a "second pass" just to make sure I didn't miss any hairs. My upper legs are sexy!

Groin area: I'll get back to that.

Stomach: Not much hair, mainly just fuzz, but I got rid of it.

Chest: Not much hair in this area either. I didn't shave it.

Back: Didn't shave it. Kinda difficult to shave one's own back

Hands: I was a little skeptical about how it would work on my hands. Turns out it worked beautifully.

Fingers: Difficult to do, but I managed. A few hairs left. Annihilated them with manual razor later on.

Underneath of lower arms: Did great here.

Upper arms: Worked very well, but I had to do some twisting and turning to get all of the areas.

Armpits: I didn't want to shave them, but I also wanted the hair in that area to be pretty short, so I put on the #1 trimming comb and went up and down a few times and it worked great.

Only two more areas to discuss. The butt and groin area. I will start with the butt.

Butt: I had a lot of fuzz on my buttcheeks. That was no problem, but the issue lied between my buttcheeks. I started off by placing my left foot on the toilet seat and my right foot on the ground. I then simultaneously looked in the mirror, pulled my left cheek away from my right, and stuck the Bodygroom practically on my anus and shaved from the inside-out. I did the same thing with my right cheek. This process took some time, but in the end it was definitely worth it. It looks fabulous!

Groin: I am going to divide this into several sub-areas. The sub-areas will be the "above shaft", "shaft", "sack", and "beneath sack".

Above shaft: I used the #1 trimming comb for this area. Worked like a charm. However, a few times the really coarse hairs would feel like they were being pulled, but nothing too bad.

Shaft: Well, I had to "play with myself" a little bit because I couldn't really shave the shaft when it was really soft. I was damn surprised how well the Bodygroom worked on the shaft.

Sack: Originally, I was scared as hell shaving my sack, but there was no reason to be. It worked so well in this area. I could NOT get the same results with a manual razor, no matter how much time I spent. I did have to grab on to the bottom of my sack and do a little manipulating to get to shave the areas I wanted. Not a problem though.

Beneath sack: I had a lot of hairs in this area! I do mean A LOT! The Bodygroom handled all of those nasty, coarse hairs with hardly any problem at all. Only one time it felt like the hair was being pulled.
