Lucha Libre was a fun (somehow recent) cartoon. But I agree that most today are videogame/card game product placements. But as far as brain melting goes, sorry but even our cartoons were like that :P G.I. Joe made no fucking sense (when you watch it as an adult). But I miss cartoons like Duck Tales. QFT After watching G.I JOE the animated movie, as an adult, I realized that it's nothing more that anti-communist propaganda, glorifying American militarism. And the same goes for Transformers. And even the, the stories are retarded, and I would need to be high on just about everything to sit through it. And the cartoons these days... Don't even get me started. Let's just say, they're remakes of all our old cartoons, but on crack. Personally, I miss Samurai Pizza Cats, Garfield and Friends, Conan the barbarian, and Sailor Moon. Which I'm sure if I watched them again, would fall into the same hole as GI JOE, and Transformers. |
