and... honestly... Ginger Snaps was better than a lot of the stuff in that list. It's funny 'cause a few of the people in that flick show up in Prozac Nation (shot in Vancouver)...

I didn't see the 3rd one, but I found Ginger Snaps 2 was as good as the first one.. Kept with the whole theme of using lycanthropy as a metaphore for teenage problems pretty well.

haven't read the book - but my friend James Meagher was camera trainee on Prozac Nation... it was a little weird watching it because he'd told me some stories about the shoot.

I watched Brick (2005) this morning... it was interesting... elements of River's Edge and Heathers - but with a full-on film noir plotline. Quite enjoyed it...
