 Coolness: 686280 | It's a cultural tradition that's stayed with the people for ever. It's like people saying "I don't like drug users, so rastas shouldn't be alowed to smoke their weed" or "I don't like those little hats jews wear, they shouldn't be alowed to wear them because it offends me"
Whatever the tradition, whatever the reason people have behind it, no one has a right to take their beliefs and their culture from them. How about we take you and ship you over to an oppressive middle eastern country and see how you enjoy having your "culture" and "rights" taken away from you by other people who don't understand what your all about. |

I mean hey it's ok if they've been raping children for a thousand years....**dripping with sarcasm**
Why is it different because it's "just" an animal? Some traditions are ignorant, i know it sounds like oppression and shit but we as humans shouldn't let barbaric practices like this to continue.....or stoning women or genital mutilation...or many other cruel,stupid things that some people feel justified in doing... |
