It's not just the grounding of the turntables you'll need to worry about, you need a phono preamp

RIAA equalisation is a special form of equalisation that is employed when creating vinyl recordings and cuts lower frequencies in the process. This is used to reduce wide grooves that are difficult for a turntable stylus to follow and also increases the recording time available on a vinyl disc. The RIAA curve is a set standard for frequency response of filters used when playing back vinyl recordings, used to restore lower frequencies that were reduced at the recording stage.

So your records, if you hook up the thing without a proper phono pre-amp, will have zero bass and will only be mids and highs.

lol man you shoulda just ordered a new one and replaced it yourself. It's like, a few screws and a plug. It'd take the average person who's never touched any kinds of electronics like 5 minutes to do without instructions..

maybe with a proper enough soundcard and a RCA adapter you'll be able to amplify and equalize it in your computer... my 2 cents idea

i can change a fader like no problemo...

thing is it might actually be a problem with the kill/ punch buttons that work in conjuction with the fader.

im sure i could fix it... but if i did it myself i'd have to pay for it and void my waranty.

i dug out my old hi fi... its ghetto i don't even have speakers for it that aren't powered... i had to hook up my monitor from the record out and control the volume from the back of my speaker...
it did the job.
but i miss my mixer like a piece of good pussy.

There's a ton of 'em. You won't find 'em at Future Shop or anything like that, but you can probably get one at some specialised hi-end audio stores. I know that at the hifi components show that happens every year they've usually got some for like 50 bucks depending on the person selling/brand. They also make some that have a USB soundcard built in so you can just hook it up direct to the computer.
