Wow, I've been anxiously anticipating this thread but refused to start it cause I don't like encouraging others to gamble.

1st off you guys shouldnt post any game locations on here,... alot of rooms have been busted because people post too much info online (on sites like [ playerforhire.com ] for example) and as we're all aware, unsanctioned gambling is still illegal. If anything post a date and a phone # where people can contact and get venue information.

I'd be down for any game thats hosted in the city so long as its accessable through public transport or I have a lift). I prefer playing NL hold'em shootout tournaments but would gladly play any of the following: 7-card HiLo stud, PL Omaha, PL Hold'em, 7up 5 card stud. If you guys host cash games I'd be down so long as there was a minimum 50$ buy-in (with a max buy in of $500). but I'll warn you that my style is agressive either way (obviously more so heads up). If chips are required I've got a nice set of 1000 11.5g chips that I use frequently. The only conditions that I like to play with is that a fresh unopened deck is used at the start of each game and that players use proper etiquette which includes: only speaking english at the table, that nobody can comment or speak out of turn (in a hand they're not participating in or have already folded), that nobody play out of his or her turn, that nobody gets all pissy of immature in the case of a badbeat, that nobody checks the muck (unless a shootout goes to a showdown),and finally that the game remains fun and friendly at all times .

Please post more info as to what limits you guys are willing to play, blind and/or ante structures, suggested starting chip structures, the rake (if any), and pay-out structures.

I've be down for playing a fun 5$ game sometime so long as it didnt conflict with my schedule. To be honest I'd prefer to play a game with at least a 20$ buy-in cause anything lower is somewhat petty and from my own experience takes away from the excitement of the game... not to say that theres no risk involved whatsoever in a 5$ game but generally speaking I find that people are more inclined to make marginal calls with sub-par hands when the game has such little value and consequently you end up with alot of players making bad plays... For someone who enjoys poker theory and plays strictly based on the statistical value & pot equity of a particular hand it could "ruin" the foundation of the game... anyways, I work every day during the week so I'd only be available to play games at night of on the weekends.
