Official Opening: Friday,March 24th, 2006 situated at 7240 Clark, Montreal You are cordially invited to the official opening of the . Accessible,due to it's central location, the C.C.A.F makes it's introduction, as a new alternative for the diffusion of artistic concepts. To inaugurate our dance floor, we propose an evening of electrifying music with DJ's and VJ's from Montreal's electronic music scene. We lookforward to welcoming you to come and visit our space. March 24th from 8 p.m till sunrise with dj's: Ms. Ness,Nathan Burns,The Autist,Vega,Omni,Aikido and special guests We would also like announce, the holding of a press conference,taking place Thursday, April 13th, 2006 in the form of a 5@7. The conference is intended to present to the media and guests, our Spring 2006 Program, as well as the unveiling of artists in residence, official projects and collaborators of the organization. C.C.A.F The centre, made up of a collection of artists, organizations and companies, working in the fields of research and creation, within a milieu that enables arts and technology to meet, have come together to create a non-profit organization, providing a space for creative activities and events to be realized in an open and accessible manner. The emphasis being inter-disciplinary arts and technological collaborations. Our mission is to encourage and promote creative collective projects and artistic concepts, showcasing artists from Montreal and abroad. We will be featuring both electronic arts: music, dance,and multimedia, as well as more traditional art forms such as painting and other visual arts, and live musical performances,respectively. The ultimate goal of the "C.C.A.F" is to favour exchange and interdisciplinary activities,provoking the creation of specific concepts, while developing a network of artists, technicians, scientists and thinkers, through the collaboration and participation of communal projects. |

oh ok.
sounds cool man. but you should do a bigass fucking opening, that way ppl would remember it as the place with alot of ppl. not a dead place. like rent it for free for the first guy who proposes an out of town DJ, and do a pro-rata on the door. Just for the first bigass party, y'know? |
