 Coolness: 97175 | Ok, so I've had a few days to recuperate and arrange my thoughts on the whole thing, so here goes:
THANK YOU!!!! Seriously, this party has been alot of hard work for all of us, but it wouldn't have been possible without the 600+ people who showed up ready to JAM. I think Andrew has already explained the venue issue, so I won't go into any more detail on that. I'm sorry to all my friends about not having any time to talk or hang out, there was simply no time for me to relax. The new venue required a sound system, a bar, and coat check, all things which were originally being taken care of by our original venue. So we had about 8 hours to put all those things together. That bring me to my explanation for the sound system: I apologize for the loudness and the echo, unfortunately, there was no time to even test the system, nor was there time for me to check it more than once every hour or so, I was running non-stop all night. I can assure you, had things been different, your ears wouldn't be ringing so much. Given the situation, I hope you understand. Believe me it's in my best interest to give you killer sound at all our events and I can promise you the next one will be impeccable. I'd also like to thank a few special people, who helped far above and beyond the call of duty: David & Caroline @ The Darling Foundry. You 2 really saved us, and you went out of your way to help us with this event, I owe you!!!! Steve Lalla & Jamie Omeara @ Hour. Dude, I know I harassed the shit out of you, but it was so worth it. Fanatastic cover story, all I gotta say. Zach & Morgan. The secret AfterDARK crew. Most people on this site have no idea who these 2 are, but they're easily 50% of the reason this party still ruled against all odds. Kloda Productions Crew. How do you book and deliver a 25,000 watt sound system, and lighting in a matter of 2 hours? This is how. Honorable mentions going out to all the staff, bartenders, coat check, dj's, and crazy drinkers. Except for that guy that kept passing out and pissing himself. Dude, you can't drink, deal with it. There are literally 20 stories I could tell you that are related to this party, so I'm not going to go into it right now. Just 1 thing. A stupid biatch (apparently a friend of Hussler) wanted to punch me when I was behind the decks because I was looking for my beer and took one on the counter to see if it was mine and then the guy showed up and said that it was his beer and thought I was stealing booze. He was obviously really drunk and if it wouldn't be of her girfriend, he would have attacked me. Fucking cunt ! If you know you you are, be ashamed ! And stop drinking for christ's sake |
