i love your broken english :b
the new South Dakota law on abortion. Abortion is now illegal and it would only be permited if the life of the mother is in peril. If a female was raped, even by a family member, the female must keep the child if her life is not in danger. yeah... some americans are so backward. I think the Supreme Court might get involved. |

The new law sucks for woman in america. There are 8 or so heart land states that will be passing the same bill of sorts. This in the end will bring far more challange to the famous case ( cann't spell the case name right now, but you know which one). There must always be a choice there open too all to use or not that is thier right.

Sucks to say it, but this is upto those people in those states to fight their government.. it really isn't our fight until it comes here. Their country, their rules. |

Looks like the USA is slowly edging toward treating women like they are treated in Saudi Arabia... |

Their country, their rules. if i follow your argument : " their country , their rules" it can also be applicate like : " their colonization , their genocide" or , "their country , their jews"... ? when it's start somewhere , je serai toujours indignee ! in this question we have to incorporate the fact that we assist since fiew years at a religion war between the west and the east... i care about the abortion question...this is not what realy preocupate me....but the most shocking in this new law is to realise & constate how the born again christians are infiltrate in the gouvernement! i |

For me the issue, is how they try and apply a treatment (a law) on the effect (the abortions) rather than dealing with this problem at its cause. (ie. reducing those elements which contribute to unwanted pregnancies). I think it is lame that people will actually have to prove that their lives are or would be in danger if they kept the child. Often, this would mean heaving bureaucracy, not to mention time and money, on top of a already traumatic event. Money, which alot of people do not have.
So the moral of this story, en bref, and over-simplified, but still relevant, is if you come up with a really convincing story (true or not) with a lawyer to prove it (or not), you can get yourself an abortion. |
