Which Movie are you talking about?
Drug Store Cowboy? Because i've already seen Elephant... mind you, I never knew about this trilogy business! I've heard of all those two other films, so i'll go check 'em out. From what I checked out on [ IMdb.com ] this guy does a lot! He even did a little cameo apperance in Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back. Gen, I didn't know you were taking classes! Obviously, it's Cinema (right?). What school are you studying at? By the way, have you ever been to Museum of Moving Images? haha, since were always talking about Music and Movies, here's a special film that I really enjoyed. The Last Waltz Martin Scorsese MGM, 1978 This movie is an absolute must see, for those who love Rock n' Roll and especially for those who love The Band. After 16-years of touring, this film takes its viewers through the final concert ever performed by the Band, . The film includes many interviews with band members, as well as incerdible performances by some of Rock n' Rolls biggest and most talented names. Directed by Martin Scorsese, this is truly one of the most beautiful films ever made. Featuring, the original members of The Band: Rick Danko, Levon Helm, Garth Hudson, Richard Manuel, Robbie Robertson And Special Guests: Paul Butterfield Eric Clapton Neil Diamond Dr. John Bob Dylan Lawrence Ferlinghetti Emmylou Harris Ronnie Hawkins Howard Johnson Michael McClure Joni Mitchell Van Morrison Pinetop Perkins Mavis Staples Roebuck 'Pops' Staples Ringo Starr Muddy Waters Ron Wood Neil Young Close your eyes, or leave them open, this won't be an experience you will soon forget. |

THE HUNT FOR THE RED RIPPER documentary
6.5/10 i seen alot of movie or documentary about serial killer...i read alot of books too.this one really disapointed me...first of all why they didn't choose to put subtitle since everybody speak russian in it?? instead they asked a russian guy to speak on the other track...the volume is shitty and it's confusing... i didn't learn more than what i knew...beside the fact that russian police are fucking slow. SYNOPSIS :it's about one of the most brutal serial killer, andrei chikatilo,a former russian school teacher who was sentenced to death in 1992 after a dramatic trial in which he was convicted of killing, mutilating and cannibalizing 52 women and children. MUSICVIDEO NOISE~IMAGE RELATED WITH THIS AFFAIR [ www.youtube.com ] THE RED RIPPER IN COURT-----> [ www.youtube.com ] HIS STORY The Soviet Hannibal Lecter. As a kid Andrei's brother was taken by the villagers and eaten during times of famine. Or so he said. As an adult, while he living a double life as a married man, Communist Party member and a teacher, Andrei, enjoyed killing children with impunity . Chikatilo -- a sexually impotent dirty old man from hell -- lived in Rostov, 500 miles from Moscow, where he preyed mostly on children. He stalked many of his victims in train and bus stations, and had a penchant for disembowelment and mutilation. He was also a cannibal and a sadist. His macabre twelve-year killing spree was finally uncovered in 1992. Chikatilo wasn't exceptionally crafty hiding his crimes. Investigators were hindered by the fact that he was a Party member. Also, the investigation of his crimes was used to flush out many known homosexuals in a Soviet-style attempt at moral cleansing. Many blame the incompetence of Soviet authorities and their refusal to admit the existence of a serial killer in their socialist utopia for his 10-year reign of terror. Years before his arrest he was brought in for questioning and let go when police found that his blood did not match the semen found in one victim. It is a little known fact that in some rare cases -- Chikatilo being one -- the blood and semen of a person does not necessarily have to match. Free again, Andrei continued on his path of destruction with reckless abandon. Eventually he was arrested because of the determination of two investigators involved in his previous arrest who remembered his name after he was seen coming out of a forrest near a train station. While he was on trial, his gory descriptions, psychotic behavior and litany of horrors gave the Soviet public their first taste of serial mayhem. "I am a mistake of nature, a mad beast," he said at his 1994 trial where people fainted when they heard how he boiled and ate the sawn-off testicles or nipples of his victims. Andrei was executed by firing squad in prison on February 14, 1994. SOME OF HIS "WORK" |

The movie is the story of a single mission of one U-boat and its crew, following U-96 from its departure from La Rochelle, France, through its patrols in the North Atlantic and an attempted penetration of the Mediterranean, to its return to La Rochelle. It depicts both the excitement of battle and the tedium of the fruitless hunt, and portrays the men serving aboard U-boats as ordinary individuals with a desire to do their best for their comrades and their country. The story is based, loosely, on an amalgamation of the exploits of the real U-96, a Type VIIC-class U-boat commanded by Heinrich Lehmann-Willenbrock, one of Germany's top U-boat "tonnage aces" during the war. |

DERANGED JEFF GILLAN USA (1974) 8.5/10
ED GEIN i read alot about this killer.i think that he's special because he's different than the majority of serial killer profile...he's not really intelligent...that's probably why he get caught after 2 murder... it's more what he did before that impress me... this movie is the more acurate fiction(u can find really good doc.) that u can find about this story...beside the one of 200O,~THE LIGHT OF THE MOON that i don't like too much...this one is a gold one with typical 70' ambiance...i also like that a journalist is the story teller and he is incorporate in some scene... without ed gein any texas chainsaw massacre or psycho would never exist...the actor who have the part of ed gein, roberts blossom,is excellent ...like youy really believe that he's deranged...i would like more gore but the effect are ok and funny... SYNOPSIS:A man living in rural Wisconsin takes care of his bed-ridden mother, who is very domineering and teaches him that all women are evil. After she dies he misses her, so a year later he digs her up and takes her home. He learns about taxidermy and begins robbing graves to get materials to patch her up, and inevitably begins looking for fresher sources of materials. FUNNY THINGS ABOUT THE MOVIE : ---Producer Tom Karr raised $200,000 budget as a concert promoter for acts such as Led Zeppelin, Three Dog Night, The Temptations and Rod Stewart. LITTLE DOCUMENTARY ABOUT HIM (8MIN)---> [ www.youtube.com ] |
