i'm big fan of serial movie killer but this one is so crap!it's filmed with a bad camcorder...the screenplay don't make sens at all!the editing is horrible...the acting is worse than every student movie i saw at school....pourtant...that's sad, because the story of this killer is passionate and have so much potenciel!he was the most sociopathe ever.at least jeffrey dammer was feeling guity. the trial video of the btk killer [ www.foxnews.com ] he remain so calm while descriving his "project" like he used to call his murder...he's too proud...like a real authentique serial killer... the real bind torture kill guy  |

anyway the most creepy part i find is that the operator voice on the phone... and you hear this beeping sound every 5 seconds. DON'T watch this if you're a sensitive person "i can't kill you .... you're going to live today...." oh man. |

| Coolness: 151165 | Yikes, that's pretty intense. It timed out on me -and i'm not about to watch that again at 3am- so I missed the ending.
Elephant Gus van Sant 2003, Fine Line Features An ordinary high school day. Except that it's not. Again, it's 3am... I don't know why i'm awake -maybe it's to finish off my drink, eugh- but after watching that, this movie came to mind. Based -if i'm not mistaken- on the shooting that took place at Columbine, this film takes through the lives of several students on their last day of class... so to speak. On one hand you've got a couple of kids, doing their thing, the things teens typically do in America, and on the other hand, you've got two boys who are planning to shoot up their school. The film is shot in a homemovie style. It has a rough grain to it, I suppose to add to the realism relative to the actual events. The dialouge is somewhat improvised, reminicent of a reality show and the events move slowly but surely through out the movie, until the final moments. Elephant, from what I remember, doesn't seem to put to much emphasis on the ensuing violence, but it does give you the impression violence is bound to rear it's ugly head sooner or later. Which is, I suppose, the great thing about it. During the film, you can see the "violence" that these kids are living with... there's nothing pretentious about it. It just... Is. Unfortunately, I haven't seen to many of his films to comapare his style with other films he's done, but perhaps you can; with titles like: Psycho (1998 ) and Good Will Hunting (1997) and To Die For (1995) featuring Nicole Kidman, under his belt, this guy is no amature. The film stars -coincidentally- actors who go by their real surnames. If you've ever watched Dazed and Confused or some other Teenagnst film, you'll know what to expect from the attitude these guys give their viewers. It's raw, to the bone. It's fictional. It takes on the Columbine story but it's not real footage. Columbine happened on April 20, 1999. This video shows 2001. Zero Day had nothing officially linked with Columbine. It was a short, "fake" self-documentary showing what COULD push two teens to shoot people in their school. |
