when i saw this movie in the slelves of the store tonight i was like :why not? it's a bad habit that i have to watch gross things like mondo movies! and i tough it can have some potenciel...yeah!pontenciel mon oeil ! i waited for a good punk humouristic movie...(the production is called "punx" ) i was really curious to see the makeup-effect and what a fucking guy can do for associate zombies and porn...well..i was pretty disapointed! pourtant it was starting good with the first scene... the light and the old effect of the pellicule was a hommage at the genre... but after it was just a normal typic porn movie... + the blood & bad death metal music... the make up effect was ridiculous , it was looking like mug... that's it! and when the girl was sucking the make-up desapear ! very cheap !any special effect at all . (if you r not consider the sureal elasticity of some of these girls..) :lol [ www.pornofthedead.com ] the web site seem funny but the movie is really not! |

I truly love Ladytrons music, but I find that they look really awkward in they're videos, almost as though they're uncomfortable and don't know how to act on camera. They have some videos that are really amatureish, and some that are produced very well - I suppose it has to do with the accumilative success that they've gained over the past 4-years. In they're more expensive videos, you can notice that there are some great concepts as well as strong visual subtexts, for instance, their video for Seventeen... it's quite self-explanitory by lyrics, but the director conveys Ladytrons idea very well. I've come to appreciate how success can determin the commercial value, or quality of music videos. Their earlier albums 604, which features Playgirl, demonstrates this idea, by comparing its video to Destory Everything You Touch from they're later album Light&Magic.
