| Coolness: 151165 | I remember reading about Palindromes in the Hour last year, seemed like a really bizare movie -you know, with all the switching of the characters?
I can't remember what it meant though... Something about "how it can happen to anyone"? I dunno. Looks good though. His movies are fucking strange! But I like 'em! I've only seen Happiness and I was so shocked to realize that people could make movies like that. It was an experience to say the least. That miss kitten video is pretty chill. Very minimal. I think it fits the style of electro... no flashy lights or correographed dance moves. I liked when she was just standing there shaking her hips, then all of a sudden they edit in a styrophoam cup. (* dance alone in the studio like a retard *) Haha, I do that at home when i get all excited... then I wonder what people are thinking when they see me through the window. Eesh, I still keep on dancing though. Ain't nobody gonna cramp my style, ain't nobody going to hold me down, oh no, i've got to keep on moving!! |

Another good redneck movie that came out not too long ago is "Wrong Turn" directed by Rob Schmidt...it's basically a more updated American Horror film that came out in 2003. i like redneck movies but i prefer the good old one! but it was entertaining!i really hated the first 20 minutes...the music was bad...the acting was also bad...by chance the worse actors got killed first! elisa dushku made a good job! she's not the scream girl of the year but she can act fear...+ she's kind of cute. typic slasher with the good old morale of the 70' ! the slut died first and the good girl survive... what i also reproche at this movie is that is more a succession of scene who make you step than a real terror climate... you know, i saw fucking halloween when i was 5 years old so...the cat who jump from the bascket don't impress me anymore ! the special make-up effect was really well made...maybe little more subtle for the redneck and it's would be more believable..but each time that happen a gorish scene i was like: "more,more!i want to see more!" |
