I used to find that tams were alright at parties, but ever since I've started DJing, I've come to realise how absolutely fucking anoying they are. I don't give a fuck if you're on beat flawlessly, 100% of the time, if I want someone throwing something extra over my music, I would bring my OWN tam player, or my OWN guitarist, or my OWN MC, etc., that I have worked with and practiced with previously. The DJs/performers don't need your extra whatever the fuck you think you're good at, it is DISTRACTING and you get on our fucking nerves even WORSE than a shitty MC who won't shut up, because the MC who won't shut up isn't throwing in a new beat that makes your job as a DJ to keep the music flowing smoothly harder to do.

i've played with a live drum kit a bass player and a turntablist backing me on a few ocasions and i personaly think its fuckin' bad ass fun!!

monitoring can get a little tough at times if the drummer can't hold the beat, but over all its a fuckin' blast.

i wish i had a drum set cuz judging by this thread...

DJ'S ARE FUCKING GAY!!!!
