voter pour le bloc quebecois c'est pas voté oui au référedum absolument pas... Le bloc québecois est la pour defendre le québec plus quon a de vote pour eux plus qu'on a de voix.. qu'il soit separatiste ou non sa change rien.

there is a hint of truth in that statement.. mouahah.. the bloc has a teeny influence on the gov. so quebecers dont feel the need to seperate...as much... ahah okay thats a lie. i dont know. politics are teh gyay. every party is corrupt.

Absolutely the BQ ensures that Quebecs voice is heard. In the eventual event that the PQ actually holds a winning referendum, then the BQ may well have something to say on separatism, for now they are there to stifle parliament, and make sure the western conservative fascists don't take over.

eventual event? dude, there's already been 2 referendums, both lost. it's been 30 years that the BQ has been trying this, they even said they wouldn't be around for more than 10 years. what makes anyone think a 3rd one will make the difference? the reality is, Quebeckers don't want seperation. deal with it.

Hmm I don't know if Québec is ready to pull out from Canada. I think there are more serious issues to solve before thinking about sovereignty. Like environment :)

But if Conservative party is elected... I might change my mind about it ;)

Neoform, the BQ exists since 1991. They say they won't exist in 10 years because after the sovereignty, there will be no need of a federal party.

And, also, saying that a people don't wan't referendum because the others one were lost is absurd, why's the party still here, people are voting for it, and don't forget the new generations that weren't able to vote in the firsts one (like me) may want to express their opinions too.

And, as for people who are saying that voting for an opposition party is a useless vote, WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT? Let's forget about all others ideas and vote only for the same corrupt party over and over, because we sooo not want to be in the opposition! It's a known fact, c'mon if you don't vote for the main party, don't vote, it's useless! Especially in a moniroty government!

Dude, let me guess, if a 3rd referendum were held.. and the PQ lost yet again, I bet you'd be like "just you wait for #4!!"..

when will you get the point? if only 4,757,509 people voted in the 1995 elections out of 7,568,600, that's 62% of people voted; of those who voted, 49% said yes. meaning a third (31%) of quebeckers voted in favor of seperation. who are you to want to drag 2/3's of the population of quebec along with your radical dreams?

it came closest in the 1981 provincial election when then leader, René Lévesque, earned 49.2 per cent of the vote.

The Bloc has come close to breaking the 50 per cent barrier in the past. In 1993, when it won a high of 54 seats, it earned 49.3 per cent of the vote. Last year, the party won 54 seats again and earned 48.8 per cent

Whatever, when is the rest of Canada gonna realize that Quebec has em by the short n curlies.
Most of the last prime ministers have been from Quebec
MOst high ranking ministers within the governing party are from quebec.
Ummm all that sponsership money, somehow found its way where, oh yeah Quebec.
So Quebec already rules shit anyway, than add in the Bloq Quebecois, is just an added insult to those that don't get it....
Its not a question of can and INdenpendant Quebec survive without Canada, its can English Canada survice without QUebec there to rule them all
