I'm so gonna love that one for a number of reasons. First off, every actor from past movies will return in their respective roles. I was afraid they'd get others to play them to a certain extent but no. Phew. Weirdly, I've always had a soft spot for Colossus which we saw 5 seconds in X-Men 2. We'll get to see him more hopefully. Grammer as Beast ? If there was any doubt about Beast's intellect, just listen to Grammer talk, especially in his Sideshow Bob character in The Simpsons. They COULDN'VE picked a better actor. Seriously. Apparently we'll see Xavier estranged step-brother Cain Marko aka Juggernaut. I'm guessing destruction will ensue. Nice. New additions will rock ! I mean, (again) [link=darkantoine.free.fr/darkantoine/images/x/X-men-colossus.jpg]Colossus ? Angel (as we've seen here) ? [ www.x-men-legends.com ] Frost (Cyclops' love interest) ? And OMFG [ ] Red ??? Also, 2 thumbs down for bringing to life superheroes we don't even care about and hopefully will only get cameos : - Leech ( his power ? Annul powers for mutants next to him. Great. ) - X-Kid ( who's X-Kid ? ) - Syrin ( they should've gotten Celine Dion for that one ) - Callisto ( meh ) - M ( wow, some superhero name ) and lastly - Jubilee. And I don't care who says she's actually cool, she isn't. "FIREWORKS" as super powers ? Come on. Who I would've liked to see : - I'm unsure if they will be featured or not but, HELLO ! Sentinels goddamit !!! - Apocalypse. Duh. - Gambit - Cyclops' brother Havoc - I dunno, Cable maybe ( I know, not an X-Men per se ) ? // Comic book geek mode OFF |

| Coolness: 159840 | I don't care how old Colossus is, as long as he's there. A lot of stuff in the movie doesn't follow the actual comic book timeline anyway. Like, duh, Beast and Angel being part of the ORIGINAL X-Men which they are being featured in the third installement only. And Beast NOT being furry and purple at first.
So whatever. Heh. And yeah Trashandsuicide, maybe that makes her cool by definition but clearly, she's not a superhero. Wolverine liked her because she was asian and reminded him of [ www.marveldirectory.com ] Yashida. She's, unfortunately for her, a screwup and he keeps saving her ass from basically anything that has powers. So meh. :) |
