I really enjoyed Mr.Frogs story about the Man and his bitch. It was, honestly, a damn good analogy. It won't convert me or anything... but I still have to say that, Neoform, your really starting to sound stupid. All of your arguments are really extreme, and it almost sound as if your saying the shit you've said, simply for the sake of saying it. You honestly have no respect for the opposition, and it really doesn not seem to be that way because your anti-seperatist for intelligent reasons. Your just, literally, ranting. Have you ever stopped to think about what the PQ is trying to push? Some, and even most, I believe, of their platform for secession seems reasonable. Now reasonable, doesn't mean it will work. All i'm saying is that everything you've got against seperatists, seems to be really, really, really personal. Your emotions are taking over intelect. For example. "What about that graffiti that says: English go home" "Nous sommes pas a Toronto" "Bill 101, blah, blah..." In my oppinion... Neoform is racist against french people. Anyways, I still won't vote YES. Only because, I know that to many Quebecers are lazy fucks, wether they are english, french, japanese, jewish, greek, or whatever. And I say this because QUEBEC WILL NOT BE ABLE TO AFFORD ALL OF OUR EI OR WELFARE CHECKS when we need it. Canada will. |

To answer you, well, even now, in a rich Canada we can't achieve the "Deficit Zero", we had a 2.1 billion deficit last year, when revenues were higher than the year before. And for the next years, expends won't stop growing because of the healt cost of the ageing of the population. Francois Legault, last year, wrote a financial Document "Les Finances d'un Québec Souverain", a 50 pages document available there, which is worth a read: [ www.pq.org ] It's not detailed like a real budget, but this document was approved by several competant people and a federalism organism (Canadian Club I think) said there was no error in the document. This document was never contested by any federalist parties, all that was said about it is that it was optimistic and wasn't taking care of the economic uncertainty (Michel Audet, PLQ). Economic uncertainty is purely statistical to calculate, it can be good, stable or bad, and there's not a lot of government budgets that are based on a bad economic uncertainty. I am absolutely no finance expert, I leave that to the financial experts, and if they say that it will be benefic, I will believe them first instead of my suppositions! :) |
