| okay guys I'm leaving for tdot in about a week and I need to know where you'd send me shopping
.. I need clothes and accessories and knick-knacks
however, nothing too expensive and thrift shops are a must
So what do you suggest? |

| ok here is the deal.
if you want a mall go to the eaton's centre. its at yonge and queen st, the 2 most main streets in toronto (five minute walk from my house). For interesting shopping go along queen street WEST. queen street west starts at yonge st right by the mall. if you walk the wrong way it will be queen st east. There are a lot of cool shops down there, a few you will like a lot. As for thrift shops there are no value villages downtown so just walk along queen street and you will run into 2 few vintage/thrift shops. one is called black market and they have 2 stores across the street from each other. the only trick is they are UPSTAIRS or downstairs, above or below other stores and are easily missed. There are a few more but i forget their names. Since queen street west is your best bet, most of the GOOD stores are before a street called spadina, there are a few good ones after but not as many. you'll pass much music, city tv and stuff like that. | Oh and one thing is.. dont just buy everything you see right from the start. Cause then (if walking west) when you hit spadina with 0$ you'll regret having spent all of it 2 blocks up. Walk down, look at everything then shop.. its alot better then calling ur parents and beging then to send you money for the one thing you reaaallllly wanted but saw it at the last store you went to and you didnt have enough for it. |

| I actually didnt buy much in TO..but if you try you can find amazing deals
hehe I found kitchen orange shirts on sale for 50% off...and I bought TonyHawk shoes for 75% off...and I got a pair of realllly hot kitchen jeans for 60 bucks..hehe
mmmm deals....so ya dont buy stuff fullpriced cuz there are some realllly good deals in TO if you can find them |

| boxing week sales should be good, hopefully. it's not like i can go or not. i have to WORK.
yah take kafwins tips. look all over first, put shit on hold if you need to because you will run out of cash fast. go around then decide what you want and go back for it. unless you have a credit card. |
