Rules for Spinning for Purple Haze Any deejay that spins for Purple Haze events will be given tickets for that event. The money from the sales of these tickets goes directly to the deejay – i.e. 5 tickets @ $10 = $50 in deejay’s pocket. Deejays will be given 2 spots on the guest list of the event that they are working. One for themselves, one for one other guest ONLY. There will be NO exceptions. For any deejay that is spinning for Purple Haze events, the only requirement is that you have fun and do your magic. If you cannot add to the event you will not be asked to spin again. Future deejays that care to spin for my events can send me an email (see my email below) with the link to their set online or drop a copy to Chill Montreal. If I don’t know you or your music …you will not get on the decks @ all. Promoters, you can come in for free along with gf or bf as long as I know who you are…the other peeps that might be in your company will be required to pay. If we haven’t met yet, seek me out. I have a very simple reason for starting this production company - I want to achieve a neutral ground where deejays new & old can get their chance to spin and peeps far and wide can benefit from the results. As any deejay knows, you need to get heard & you need peeps to play for. By giving deejays a chance to cut their teeth, they might become better known and get booked @ bigger & better events. By offering a lower cost option with superior talent, people can come enjoy the event without putting a huge dent in their wallets. This means everybody from deejay, to spectator, to promoter wins. In the end, I am trying to put together events that I will find interesting & @ the same time that other peeps will enjoy too. Yes, I will admit that I am leaning heavily towards psy trance, but I am open-minded. If anyone has an idea that they care to share, I will listen. In the end I want everyone to win if possible.
