just a quick little comment...i agree 100% wiv voidnill and with all the posts and shit on ravewave alone i think itd make a compact..and maybe if we did get 2gether and try something, we woud actually get somehwere instead of pretending the problem doesnt exist
hihihi *muah* |

wtf am I talking about?
you are helping to destroy the rave scene with your immature attitude of trying to combat the cops with sheer force. It wont work and it'll just make things twice as hard for any one who's serious about this problem. |

Void is right, the scene is rotting from the inside out, i've noticed it too, and i don't consider myself to be that much of a raver rather than a music consumer, but then neoform isn't far off either, not to say we need an underground association, we need to supposrt the AMP or whatever the fuck that thing is that was formed to speak on behalf of the community, it's true, everyone is concerned with themselvs and their GREATSHIT that THEY can bring to the scene, if we could at least work on gettin on better grounds with authourities then maybe they'll loosen up, get them to see that there we can be responsible people. |

i have nothing to add to this discussion right now. I have no solution to offer except what has already been mentioned.
but yeah, Ian mentioned straightedge ravers; you guys can count one HERE. i have been and will be straightedge for life and i'm pretty confident to say that i can outdance any mofo out there on speed. it's the music that feeds me thats why i was delighted when the cops were just came in and that CRAZY FRICKIN HEAVY METAL JUNGLE TRACKS WITH GRINDING GUITARS, DRUMS AND SHIT (giani brothers). power-jungle-core, thats word. don't get me wrong, i got no strong feelings against drugs or booze so dont start hating on me now; some people seems to be sensitive about their precious drugs. so ignore this post and go on with the discussion about keeping our party scene alive. bigup resistance massive & junglist footsoldiers |

i've got no probs with people taking drugs.. it's people who do em at raves that annoys me. |

people do their thing. i dont even like the "straightedge" movement in general (refering to hardcore kids... or should i say fashion-core, eh?) cause although i think it's good that people have strong educated opinions about issues/lifestyle/music,ect i dont think anybody should be elitist in any sense.
anyways wrong thread for this topic. yes, we could be militant and demonstrate but education comes first. thats why i agree with the spokesperson idea. it's pointless to look for confrontation (violence) especially when the law always has the upperhand in that aspect. i believe our scene is healthy underground-wise so it wont collapse absolutly. few deejays and promoters are doing it strickly for money (but we all gotta eat and support wax habit?) so we're in good hands. resitance; fist in the air steez! |

first, i dont understand whre all the hate for violence and ians opinion came from, because there was no mention of confrontation anywhere, or violence.
second, its very easy to get your point to the people upstairs, they just probably wont listen, hence the spokesperson idea (or coalition since that word in no way implies violence...) third, politics aint an easy place to have a battle for rights, especially rights for people who admit that their own battle is for mostly drug using people... but whatever, im not a raver, i dont understand the whole rave scene... i like the music so disregard this if it makes no sense i guess |

the cops in t.o aren't so bad. i've only been to one party that got busted. if i do recall it was OC that got kicked out of the original venue and then they showed up to the other place later. Yes hulla got shut down this time but it was cause of some k tard who refused medical attention and then the arresting of drug dealers. Damn them. Other than that i dont think any other party i've been to has had that happen. |

referring to what megan siad..it is kinda ppl like that k-tard who ruins the parties for others.
its ok to goand do drugs its ur decision of coarse but when u need medical attention dont refuse it..dont act all stupid and make a huge scene by not receiving the medical attention, in the long run your the opne thats gonna get hurt and ruin ppls time because they have to argue you with you, and get the party shut down. hihihi *muah* |

galaksy: then why is it that for EVERY party that gets advertised on this board i always hear some referrence to " 4:20 @ ____ "?
drugs are drugs, even if you don't consider pot to be one, it is still illegal :P and one way or the other it gives the police reasons to bust parties.. |
