JUMPBALL:
-players (usually four) stand in a small circle with one of them in possession of the basketball -that player starts by jumping in the air and passing the ball to another player before his feet lands on the ground -whoever the ball was passed to must catch the ball while jumping and pass it back or to another player before landing on ground -if the ball was clearly heading in your direction but react to slowly, drop or the ball just simply hits your head or a part of your body YOU'RE OUT FOO -last player left is bla bla bla ***here are some rules that can be different from yard to yard. -you may decide to yell challenge before catching the ball resulting in a duel -ball must be throw at player above the crotch or knee (to the groups descretion) -if ball if thrown really hard at another player instead of a gracefully toss THAT'S "GARNOT" you're out unless player accepts a challenge -ball must always be actually thrown directly at another player. if the other player catches this 'bluff', decides to just freeze and balls lands on the ground without touching it's person. the player that had thrown the ball is OUT... but if you CLEARLY did a stupid ass reaction and completly miss the ball instead of catching it AND tried to say it wasn't really coming your way YOU'RE OUT AND YOU'RE A CHUMP the beauty of the game is when a group of really experienced players are partaking in a match and people bust out fresh aerial moves; like spins, funky air stances, fakes and delayed reactions to "deek" out the other players so of couse you want to look your best in a game that has plenty of room for style i hope that wasn't too confusing |

Champ is a similar game with a grid that consists of a square devided into four drawn into the ground
a player occupies each square and can also be played with a tennis ball instead of a basketball the designated champ starts the game by tapping the ball into another players square ball must land within square or on lines OR YOU'RE OUT like in tennis the other player must let ball bounce once and return or pass the ball to another player in the same manner you can also spike ball into other players square COME DANS LE TENNIS bla bla it's a simpler game but pretty damn fun anyways please correct me or post variations UGHUGH UGH |
